The Morton County Law Enforcement Center services two agencies;  The Morton County Sheriff Department & The Elkhart Police Department.  The Law Enforcement Center is housed in the Morton County Courthouse, located in Elkhart, Kansas.  The Administrator of the Law Enforcement Center is Sheriff Justin Holliday, who also fills the role of Chief of Police of the Elkhart Police Department.  Due to this combined relationship, Morton County Sheriff's Officers and Elkhart Police Officers share offices and equipment, and also work cooperatively in all phases of Law Enforcement.
